More info
ATC brand server of an RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial port via Ethernet remotely using the TCP / IP, UDP / IP, DHCP, PPPoE and dynamic DNS protocols. It is a compact and robust device mounted on metal housing that has a female RJ45 connector (10/100 Mbps ethernet), DB9 male serial connector (RS-232 series) and 6-pin block terminal (RS-series) 422 and RS-485). To access the serial port via LAN, simply install the supplied driver and Windows creates a virtual serial port on the computer. It is also possible to interconnect two serial servers between them via LAN (paired mode). DIN 35 rail adapter available with our Ref. # TJ093.

- Configuration via web server, serial server configuration software, telnet or serial console. This last method allows configuration at the place of installation of the serial server.
- A virtual COM port controller is provided that allows mapping virtual serial ports with several serial servers installed on the LAN or WAN. Serial ports are fully transparent to the user and applications.
- Point to point mode (paired). This mode allows two serial servers to be interconnected through the Ethernet network. For this, a module is configured as a server and another as a client.
- Baudrate series: 300 aa 230.4 Kbps.
- RS485 conversion offers automatic data control.
- It supports 2 or 4 wires for the RS485 interface.
- 600W protection for all serial ports.
- Protocols: TCP, UDP, IP, DHCP, PPPoE and dynamic DNS.
- Requires 9 VDC power supply (included).
- Mounted in IP30 metal housing with wall or DIN-rail fixing tabs.

RJ45
When we talk about RJ45 ("Registered Jack" 45) we refer to a telecommunications network interface for wired connection of voice and data equipment.
This connector has 8 pins or connections and may have a specific category depending on the data transfer speed and bandwidth (category 5e, 6, etc.)
The common application is their use in Ethernet network cables under TIA/EIA-568-B standard that defines the arrangement of pins (pinout), but can also be used for other applications.
