Arduino 4 Relay Shield
REF: AR110
Specifications
  • Arduino board built with 4 relays to handle high power loads that cannot be controlled by Arduino board digital I / O due to controller current and voltage limits.
  • Compatible with all standard 5V and 3.3V Arduino boards.
  • It has four LEDs to control the status of the relays, on or off.
  • Each relay has two NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) and two common contacts. Mounted on two 6-contact t-block terminals.
  • Operating voltage: 5V Coil current consumption: 140 mA (with all relays on, approximately 35 mA each). Maximum charging voltage: 48 V Maximum switching capacity: 60 W

  • Differences between NO and NC
Differences between NO and NC
These are two types of contacts widely used in electrical installations and circuits. Distinguishing the difference of these two types is very simple.
  • A NO (normally open) type contact is one that does not let the current flow while the same or the device is in standby or standby mode. The most common type NO contact is eg house switches, which remain open (not closedCircuit) until the switch is pressed.
  • The NC contacts (normally closed) are the opposite of the NO contact, they let the current pass while they are in standby or at rest to be actuated. An example would be a thermal protection relay of a motor, which remains closed while there is voltage.
