RS-232 to RS-422 or RS-485 converter from Titan. The transmission of RS-422/485 signals can be extended to a distance of 1.3Km, so the conversion from RS-232 to RS-422/485 can be very useful for long-distance transmission. It is a small module manufactured in a DIN-Rail compatible metal housing.
